Vehicle Factory Jabalpur was started in 1969 to take up production of Shaktiman 3T (in collaboration with MAN, Germany), Nissan 1T & Jonga (in collaboration with NISSAN MOTORS Co., Japan). The Factory area is spread over 330 acres and estate 600 acres.
Vehicle Factory, Jabalpur, established in 1969, is a dedicated manufacturing unit to meet 'Transport Needs' of the Armed Forces. It is ISO 9001-2000 certified with NABL-certified laboratories and State-of-the-Art CNC machines for manufacturing Transmission Components, Fabricated Items, Chassis Frames, Vehicle Assembly Lines, and more.
VFJ manufactures various vehicles, including Armoured Light Vehicles, Military Transport Vehicles, and Variants like Water Bowsers, Kitchen Containers, and Recovery Vehicles. VFJ also has capabilities for Plasma Cutting, Laser Cutting, Armour Welding, and Vehicle Assembly.
